This presentation provides a short insight into my PhD work on investigating the feasibility of multimodal imaging on a single sample using ion beam analysis (IBA) techniques and mass spectrometry imaging, specifically desorption electrospray ionisation (DESI). The work was carried out in collaboration with the National Physical Laboratory and Astrazeneca.
