REM 6 will be held at the Park Vista Hotel in Gatlinburg Tennessee, on the edge of the Great Smokey Mountains. Mid October is considered one of the best times to visit this spectacular region of the US. The autumn colours are at their peak during this time and offer a spectacular display from such colourfaul trees as the sugar maple, scarlet oak sweetgum, red maple and hickories.
The Park Vista Hotel is just over 40 miles from McGhee Tyson Airport in Knoxville, Tennesse and about 200 miles from Atlanta International Airport - according to Google a 4 hour drive.
